Should I include my email or phone number in the description when I create a listing?No. Do not put your contact information in the title or description fields.
People will send you messages through the MarketWall website. We will send you an email when you have a new message. You will be able to reply to messages through the MarketWall website. This way, your email address is never revealed to the public. To protect your contact information, you should NOT put your email address or phone number in the description of your listing.
Can I post an advertisement for my business or website?No. MarketWall is for local, person-to-person transactions. For example, MarketWall is a place for people to sell their personal belongings, find housing, and meet new people. Business advertisements will be deleted.
How does MarketWall compare to eBay and Amazon?eBay and Amazon are for long-distance transactions where the buyer and the seller live in different cities or countries. eBay and Amazon charge high fees. With eBay and Amazon, the buyer and seller don't know if they can trust each other.
MarketWall is for local, person to person transactions. MarketWall is completely free.
How can I manage my listings?After you post a listing, you will receive an email with a management link that will let you view and edit your listing, see replies, or delete your listing.
You can also get a management email sent to you with links that will let you manage all of your current listings.
